AUGUST BRINGS NO RELIEF: ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN TERROR CONTINUES UNDER THE COMPLICIT SILENCE OF THE WEST

W hile global elites distract public attention with media spectacles, Palestinian children are tortured by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank. Boys as young as 16 and 17 report beatings, electric shocks, sexual humiliation, and threats of violence against their families. One teenager, kidnapped in Nablus, was told by his jailers: "We will teach you a lesson. You will be punished." Their stories echo those of dozens of others detained without trial, many dying in Israeli custody.

The farce of "Western democracy" is revealed even more nakedly when the US denies visas to the entire Palestinian delegation to the UN General Assembly in September. Including President Mahmoud Abbas, 80 officials were barred under the absurd claim of "not rewarding terrorism." A cruel irony, considering that Netanyahu, under arrest for war crimes, is welcomed with open arms at the White House. The veto directly violates the UN agreement and exposes the US's contempt for international law.

Meanwhile, Gaza faces mass starvation and extermination. Gaza City has been declared a "combat zone" by Israel, condemning 500,000 Palestinians to starvation and continued bombardment. Reports of civilians killed seeking food are daily, and the UN confirms: famine is already a reality. Genocide is not a metaphor: it is a deliberate policy of erasing a people.

In Europe, hypocrisy reigns. Pro-Palestinian activists are brutalized by German police in Berlin, while protesters interrupt the Giro d'Apañera to denounce the Palestinian Holocaust. The repression of dissent is global, but resistance persists. Even filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar joins the chorus, demanding that Spain and Europe cut ties with Israel: "Genocide in the eyes of the entire world."

Israeli settlers continue their campaign of terror in the West Bank, attacking Palestinian farmers like Sheikh Said al-Amour, who was amputated by settler gunfire months ago. The violence is encouraged by political figures like Israeli congresswoman Tally Gotliv, who openly incites genocide by referring to Palestinians as "Amalek," a biblical call for annihilation.

The Gaza Ministry of Health recorded 10 deaths from hunger and malnutrition in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths from malnutrition to 332. Among them, 124 were children.
